An exciting opportunity exists for a versatile Receptionist/Administration Assistant to join the College Administration team. You will be the face of Peace Lutheran College as you welcome parents, students, and visitors to the College, in person and by phone. Your strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service standards will see you excel in this role.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment that provides variety of challenging and rewarding work.

Learning Centre Assistant
Clerical support role for the P-12 Learning Centre
4 days per week, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, part-time/term time permanent position
Commencing 20 January, 2020 (salary can be annualised if desired)
Peace Lutheran College is looking for a Learning Centre Assistant to assist in the operation of routine learning centre and library procedures and provide clerical support to maintain the efficient functioning of the P-12 Learning Centre facility.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Enjoy working with children and have a patient, calm nature conducive to working in a school environment
Be confident in managing a busy circulation desk as you respond to student and staff enquiries
Provide technology instruction to students and staff, and collaborate closely with College ICT services
Use and maintain the Library Management System, including print and digital resources
Undertake general administrative and clerical duties within the Library
Demonstrate good time management and organisational skills
Have well developed communication skills and be able to develop rapport with students, staff and parents
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
Be able to show initiative and complete tasks with minimal direction
Ideally have some experience and formal training/qualifications in this area, eg Cert IV or Diploma in Library & Information Services.
