Based in Subiaco, and reporting to the Finance and Administration Manager you will be responsible for providing accounts support to CCWA.
Your main responsibilities include:
Ensure all appropriate accounts payable and purchasing actions are taken for the business
Raising and processing purchase orders and contractor invoices to ensure payment received on time
Consolidation and processing of corporate credit card expenses and monitoring costing of staff expenses
Management of petty cash; including reimbursement and reconciliation
Assist with the month end accounting function; including reconciliation of financial transactions and balance sheet accounts in a timely manner
Preparing general journals and post to the general ledger as required.
Preparing Bank Reconciliations as required.
Assisting with the reconciliation of grants and program general ledger accounts.
Completing and lodging the monthly Business Activity Statement as required.
Who are you
To be successful in this role you will have the following key attributes:
Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, and/or Accounting (or working towards)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated ability to work independently and to prioritise work functions
Ability to take initiative, be proactive and self-directed
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work within a team
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the values of Cancer Council WA
Actively foster the development of a culture consistent with the values of Cancer Council WA
