Airflite Pty Ltd is an Australian aviation company, specialising in a range of aviation support and engineering activities including aircraft sales, charter, fixed-based operations, maintenance, product support, Defence contracting and fleet maintenance. Airflite employs over 200 people providing products and services to the Commonwealth of Australia, Western Australian State Government, Australian Domestic and Regional Airlines, Military and Civil Flight Training Schools, and General Aviation Markets within the Australian and Asian regions.
We are seeking a Level 2 NDT Technician to join our growing team to support our civil and Defence NDT operations in Western Australia, at our Perth Domestic Airport and RAAF Base Pearce (Bullsbrook) sites. Working as part of a small team of specialists, you will be required to conduct inspections on various aircraft components and aircraft at sites around Perth. Some regional or interstate travel may be required to carry out inspections at customers sites. There is potential for there to be an on-call component to the role in order to support afterhours AOG requirements.
The successful applicant will have the following experience:
Previous experience in a NDT role.
Evidence of NDT Level 2 training, work experience hours and general examination PT, MT and ET (UT desirable) as per the requirements of EN4179:2017 or NAS410 Rev 4 (other NDT standards, such as ISO9712, may be accepted, to be assessed upon application).
Evidence of current near vision/colour perception tests.
Proficient with the MS Office suite of applications
Current Australian drivers licence
Certificate IV Aeroskills
