Were currently on the search for a full time Junior Management Accountant for a 13-month fixed term period, covering maternity leave. The role will be based in our Cremorne office, reporting into the Accounting Manager and supporting the finance and tour accounting functions. What youll be doing:

  • Working within Finance & Tour Accounting functions to produce tour related reporting along with supporting analysis and commentary
  • Accountable for tour project set up and administration and tour related ledger entries
  • Liaising with Tour Accountants to ensure accuracy and confidence in the Tour Profit calculations for each tour
  • Recording & analysing variances between Tour Actuals versus Forecast and prepare reconciliation 
  • Uploading monthly forecast and actual tour results in the event reporting system
  • Arranging Artist Payments and assisting in the lodgement of tour related Withholding Tax payments
  • Working closely with tour representatives to assist them with cash & float requirements
  • Assisting with internal & external audits

Who and what are we looking for

  • Bachelor of Commerce / Business
  • Previous accounting experience (project or management accounting experience is desirable)
  • Familiarity with Oracle / SAP systems
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with strong attention to detail
  • An energetic team player who is adaptable, reliable and efficient
  • Highly organised, with ability to prioritise tasks and deliver to deadlines
  • Big 4 or multinational experience will be highly regarded
