The Role

This key role drives Sealy's production and provides a vital link between Sealy's senior state-based management and National production support teams. 

The role is also responsible for the effective organization of required daily tasks, dispatching of product and purchasing of raw materials, as well as:  

• Providing input on production meetings, toolbox talks and ensuring action plans are achieved.
• Providing ongoing coaching and development to your assigned team.
• Establishing and fostering an unwavering commitment and adherence to Safety & Quality.
• Assisting in leading and implementing continuous improvement projects and driving manufacturing efficiencies.

   

  Skills and Experience

   

  You will have good leadership skills, a hands-on approach and the ability to educate, motivate and build a culture of excellence across multiple departments in the areas of Safety, Quality and Lean Manufacturing.

  You will possess excellent communication skills, good computer skills, a proactive approach and the ability to work to tight deadlines and budgets. 

  You will have experience with spreadsheeting, and advanced Excel knowledge. Experience with stocktaking and loss prevention is also preferred.

  You will ideally have a manufacturing and logistics background of any discipline and a commitment to high quality production outcomes.
