About the Role
Hillcrest Rockhampton Private Hospital offers 4 operating theatres and a full range of medical, surgical and mental health services.
We are seeking an experience Supply Officer with high energy, efficient and helpful customer service and a positive ‘can do’ attitude to work in our Theatre Stores.
Working in this fast-paced environment, our Supply Officer will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the flow of goods into and out of our theatre complex by providing an effective and efficient supply service (including receivables, processing, storage and delivery) of medical, non-medical consumables and other agreed items for the Hospital. The successful applicant must be physically fit to move boxes in accordance to W.H & S regulations. You will also need to work autonomously with minimal supervision after training period. This is a permanent full-time position.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate honesty and integrity within the workplace while providing efficient, friendly customer service. You will demonstrate an ability to communicate openly and succinctly while maintaining effective working relationships within the Supply and Theatre teams.
Experience working in a service focused, busy supply environment;
Demonstrated organisational and time management skills;
Ability to take accountability for processes;
Ability to use initiative and be flexible;
Proven ability to meet demanding deadlines;
Sound computer skills with the ability to utilise the Microsoft Office suite;
SAP experience highly desirable.
