The Operations Manager Commercial & Industrial is responsible for planning, directing and co-ordinating the operations of the NSW commercial & Industrial group; improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of the department while driving innovation and continuous improvement of customer relations and service levels.
Provide leadership to the allocations and driver teams with a key focus on continuous improvement of fleet efficiency, reliability and safety.
Identify, understand and create solutions that meet customer needs and service performance levels, working closely with the sales team to achieve organizational goals
Coordinate and communicate regular reporting and data analysis that informs decision making and the continuous improvement program
Take a proactive approach to collaborate with IT on innovations that enhance the capability of the C&I service.
Implement new technologies that advance our position as an industry leader and improve our service offerings.
Help drive national best practice through analysis and communication of key performance metrics and benchmarking
Lead delivery of the continuous improvement program, working collaboratively with all involved parties.
Actively participate as a member of the C&I team in all meetings, training and activities.
Drive engagement amongst employees by inspiring, motivating and empowering the Bingo team.
Set and drive high standards; championing a culture of collaboration and cooperation with colleagues and being a vocal advocate for standardization.
Ensure development of others through knowledge sharing, coaching and mentoring.
Contribute to and uphold the Bingo Industries values, purpose and strategic plan, taking a leadership role in the translation of these into day to day operations.

What you bring
Minimum of 5 years experience in an Operational Management role
Proven experience in effective team leadership and employee engagement
Demonstrated detailed knowledge of waste and/or transport management systems requirements
Proven proficient use of computers and Microsoft Office software
Demonstrated understanding and implementation of relevant legislation and the associated legal obligations, particularly related to waste management and/or transport
Experience in risk and incident management
