We are currently looking for a highly motivated and passionate retail leader to become Store Manager in our Mackay IGA store. You will be responsible for the overall performance and operations of the store, ensuring that maximum sales, profit and customer satisfaction are achieved through effective merchandising, pricing and inventory control. Your leadership skills will be continuously utilised as you perform your role in this fast paced environment.
Key Accountabilities of the Store Manager:
Achieving sales, gross profit and shrinkage budgets/targets
Completing orders/stock control
Leading, coaching & developing your team
Ensuring and exceptional standard of store presentation
Wage control and the ability to roster within set budgets
Inventory management software and stocktaking
Implementing and managing in-store marketing and promotions
Prioritising and delegating tasks effectively
To be successful for this position the applicant will have:
Supermarket retail management experience
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with team members at all levels
Strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively delegate tasks to ensure operational compliance
Hands-on support to the team on a daily basis
Well developed customer service skills
The ability to work early mornings, some nights and weekends if needed
