The successful applicant may have previous spare parts experience or be enthusiastic with a positive attitude and are wanting to develop skills in the heavy vehicle industry. Applications from the car industry welcomed.
This is a 38/hr week role during normal business hours and will also include some weekend and after-hours availability on a rostered basis.
Purpose of the Role
You will be responsible for the provision of spare parts services to both internal and external customers. This role will hold direct contact with customers and handling enquiries by phone, email or in person. You will work collaboratively with all areas of the business and aim to maintain and continually improve spare parts service.
Provide prompt, courteous and efficient service to all customers at a competitive price, whilst retaining a commercial business approach and always having the best interest of the company in mind.
Providing workshop staff with fast and accurate service including suggesting associated parts that may be required to complete their work.
Establish good working relationships with new and existing customers to help maintain and increase our growth in the heavy vehicle industry.
Participate in work-based training to continue to learn with our ever-changing industry.
To retain the existing customer base through ongoing support whilst ensuring growth through visitation and canvassing of new and potential clients. Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction is met at all times
Generate potential opportunities to sell parts and maximising workshop utilisation.
Up-sell associated parts including campaigns and special offers.
