Were looking for project leads who will be responsible for being the link between the client and our internal teams. You would be managing projects from concept to delivery, helping to ensure projects have the correct resource, come in on budget and meet deadlines and quality expectations.
Candidates will have an extensive understanding of a rapidly evolving media landscape and have the ability to devise innovative content strategies and campaigns. A key part of the role will be developing formats and delivering content to deadline and budget.
The successful candidate will work directly with the senior management team to devise strategy across our client output and will be responsible for delegating to a growing and skilled team.
Managing the day-to-day delivery of a range of services and projects including graphics, videos, publishing and data analytics - all from concept to delivery
Delegate tasks to relevant internal departments and seek status reports
Manage the relationship with client contacts including updating on the status of projects
Liaise with senior management to report any issues
Monitor budget spend with Head of Operations & Project Management
Ensure resource allocation is able to produce deliverables
Advise clients on best practices, solutions and future developments
Monitor trends in social media in order to devise innovative content strategies and campaigns
Take responsibility for monitoring project KPIs, working closely with the insights team
Work with business development team to expand business prospects from both current and potential new clients
Key skills and knowledge:
Extensive experience working across a range of digital platforms, with a professional background in either social content production or social media management
A creative opportunist up for trying new ideas and an ability to capture fun, engaging content
A track record in developing ideas that have been commissioned/executed
Experience in concept creation
Experience working to client briefs and working with external parties to make recommendations and encourage developments
Strong client management skills and experience of delivering KPIs
Keen, ongoing awareness and interest in trends across social media, online video and sports output internationally
Interest in new technologies and opportunities for content creation
Experience of social media channel management and optimisation best practices
Strong communication skills both within the internal team and with clients and contributors
Knowledge of media law
Strong editorial sensibility able to identify strong content that will perform well on digital/social platforms
Experience in leading and managing a team
Work flexible days, according to the appropriate sports-related calendar
Able to perform under pressure, manage multiple tasks and to work to tight timescales
Be a good communicator with strong relationship management skills
Confidence in making decisions
Salary dependent on experience
