Short term role as an Administrative Officer in Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences (ECMS), covering maternity leave
Working in collaboration with other Administrative Officers, the role provides administrative support across the ECMS Faculty and School functions teams as required, including reception duties, scheduling of meetings and diary management for School’s and Faculty leadership positions.
The role is a first point of contact and a primary interface for students, staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a client centric attitude with an ability to work within a team environment as well as an ability to build and maintain professional workplace relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. The School and Faculty Services team is responsible for supporting strategic and business planning for Schools, providing account management to ensure Schools receive the required administrative support and ensuring effective school operations.
To be successful you will need:
- Proven experience delivering a range of administrative services including handling correspondence, managing records and data and, providing accurate and timely administrative support.
- Demonstrated experience communicating, both verbally and in writing, in a succinct, professional and responsive manner to deliver client centric results.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve required outcomes.
- Knowledge of and experience with standard business software packages, such as Microsoft Office.
