The Sport program at Brisbane Girls Grammar School offers eighteen competitive, and several non-competitive, sporting activities. The School is a founding member of the Queensland Girls Secondary Schools Sports Association (QGSSSA) competition, participates in a range of Brisbane club association fixtures and offers a comprehensive Interhouse program.
Coaching at Brisbane Girls Grammar School An excellent opportunity exists for Touch Football Coaches to contribute positively to the Schools exceptional Sport program. Coaches receive an honorarium in recognition of their voluntary contribution to the School, and the development and support of students.
Touch Football trials are held in Term 4 2019, with fixtures commencing on Friday 13 March 2020 and concluding on Friday 29 May 2020.
Touch Football coaches are required to attend:
A Team training sessionsone morning per week between 6.45 am and 7.45 am, and one afternoon per week between 3.30 pm and 5.30 pm
B Team training sessionsone afternoon per week between 3.30 pm and 5.30 pm
QGSSSA fixturesheld on Friday afternoons between 4 pm and 7 pm during Terms 1 and 2 2020 (one game per fixture).
Afternoon training sessions are held at the Schools Rangakarra Recreational and Environmental Education Centre at Fig Tree Pocket.
Qualifications and experience required for the role
Accredited coaching qualifications
Hold a valid Working with Children (Blue Card) positive notice
by 9 am, Monday 18 November 2019.
