The College has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team, providing administrative assistance with the day-to-day management of the accounts payable functions of the College and Childcare Centre. This is a part-time position, working Monday to Friday for approximately 6 hours per day.
The successful candidate will be required to:
Maintain up-to-date creditors Ledger;
Process payments of creditors and general ledger liabilities;
Reconcile credit card accounts and other complex transactions;
Complete purchasing reconciliation functions; and
Perform general administration duties.
The successful candidate will:
Have experience working in an Accounts Payable role;
Be competent in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word;
Have good analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve problems;
Be able to meet deadlines and resolve complex issues;
Have strong interpersonal skills;
Be able to deal with confidential information with absolute discretion;
Have experience working with CE Finance (desirable); and
Have experience working within an educational institution (desirable).
