Reporting to the Test & Validation Team Leader, responsibilities include: 

• Manage and coordinate all product safety and regulatory compliance activities (domestic, international and OEM automotive)
• Develop and maintain relationships with testing and compliance organisations
• Coordinate in-house testing and pre-compliance, analysing test data and furnishing a test report
• Collaborate with design engineers in the early stages of product development to ensure compliance ready designs
• Develop and maintain accurate compliance reports
• Support regulatory investigations and respective corrective/preventative actions
• Support engineering on design changes needed to meet and maintain compliance
• Provide technical leadership to strengthen the Test & Validation Team

Qualified with a Degree in Engineering you will demonstrate the following essential skills and experience:

• Highly motivated with a strong drive for results and to ensure product quality; must be a detail-oriented personality
• Bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience
• This position is open to Engineering Graduates - existing experience in product development, testing and compliance will be highly regarded 
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects - organising, tracking, communicating
• Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong partnerships with internal testing team and compliance agency
• Strong technical judgement and use of structured decision-making techniques
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and on a timely basis with business leaders, project teams, and external partners.
• Strong technical writing abilities
• Experience with domestic and international electronic product safety and compliance regulations will be a plus.
