Business Support Officer (Aboriginal Pathways Program) - Talent Pool recruitment
The NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment has developed an exciting new Aboriginal Pathways Program called "I'm Deadly", and we're currently looking for passionate and motivated people to put their hand up and be part of a Sydney based talent pool.
You’ll have the opportunity to be offered upcoming positions (over the next 12 months) and be passionate & motivated to learn, both on the job and at TAFE.
You'll be gaining a variety of administration & business support skills, completing a nationally accredited full qualification delivered by TAFE (Certificate III in Business) and be supported by a dedicated mentor throughout the Aboriginal Pathways journey whilst you work and study.
Earning $70,652 per annum plus super, you'll be in a temporary contract with the possibility of securing an ongoing job at the end of the program.
Ideally, you'll have previous general experience providing administrative and customer support, as well as experience working in and with Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people/families (both professionally and personally) to enhance the skills you bring to the role and more importantly the cluster as a whole.

The Aboriginal Pathways Program is open to people of all ages who identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander. As such you must be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent through parentage, identify as being Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, and be accepted in the community as such.
