As the Business Development Manager for our Mobile Equipment Maintenance and Offsite Repair Services you will be the first line of contact with all new customers and responsible for building and developing new growth accounts in new areas of business as well as providing accurate scopes of supply to the estimating resources.

The opportunity

  • You will grow business opportunities through professional communication with existing and potential new clients
  • Manage and interpret customer specific requirements 
  • Present and discuss with clients the competitive quotes / estimates compiled by the Estimating team
  • Expand market awareness of our services and our industry experience by communicating features and benefits of our products and services effectively
  • Compile and present monthly sales status reports as required, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to objectives set by the Business Manager Perth/Pilbara
  • Participate in off-site repair contract negotiations and Master Service’s Agreements
  • Maintain and enhance positive working relationships with customers to build brand loyalty and maximise opportunities to secure future business
  • Grow sales opportunities through professional communication with existing and potential clients
  • Work with the engineering team to ensure customer project requirements are met
  • Act as a brand ambassador and always reflect company values.


  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a fabrication/ manufacturing environment;
  • Trade qualifications at minimum
  • Extensive knowledge of WA mining industry;
  • Knowledge of mobile equipment maintenance onsite services & off-site repairs tender processes;
  • Account management / business development;
  • Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001;
  • Excellent customer service/ account client management skills;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills;
  • Ability to effectively manage changes in competing priorities;
  • Thorough understanding of safety legislation, practices and requirements;
  • Ability to manage complexity;
  • Self-starting and able to work with minimal supervision;
  • Effective collaborative approach, skills and methods;
