Closure Works Specialist

Highgrade Personnelis now the preferred supplier of casual and full time personnel to many mining operations throughout the WA Goldfields region.

One of our Kalgoorlie/Boulder based gold producing Clients has engaged our professional services to source a CLOSURE WORKS SUPERVISOR.

Some key accountabilities for this role include;

• Delivery on weekly and monthly plan to meet project targets.
• Create a culture of trust, accountability and continuous improvement that reflects the mining companies values with all relevant departments and contractor teams.
• Maintain all required safety processes and paperwork, ensuring they are effectively maintained and implemented to ensure team safety and meet the company standards.
• Facilitate and lead pre-start meetings by providing clear and relevant information, including effective handovers with outgoing and incoming peers.

Selection criteria for this position includes;

• Previous Site Supervision experience in an open pit mining environment.
• Ideally a minimum of five (5) years operating experience in an open pit mining environment.
• Residential to Kalgoorlie/Boulder.
• Willing and able to pass all necessary National Police Clearance and Pre-employment Medical tests required for site clearance.

This position is a Monday to Friday (all day shift) role and a generous hourly rate will be offered to the successful applicant.
