Media & Communications Manager



A reputable tertiary client has created a new role aligned with their Pharmaceutical Sciences faculty. This client boasts great work/life balance and an admired leadership team as well as providing a lot of internal career development and progression.

You will manage and co-ordinate the operation of a complex media and communications function. As part of the Strategic Marketing and Communications division, liaise closely with Senior faculty stakeholders to contribute to strategic planning and the achievement of media and communications goals.

Youll have a real passion for the Pharmaceutical and Science sectors to excel in this operational management role and be amongst ground breaking research.

Based across two sites, you will have a split week and access to a broad range of faculties and stakeholders to quickly become the go-to person.

  • Manage and develop a highly-trained, motivated and efficient media and communications function
  • Manage and oversee risk, compliance and quality assurance processes
  • Manage and co-ordinate major branding and media reputation projects



  • Strong alignment with the Pharmacy, Health or Sciences sectors.
  • Excellent operational management experience in relation to a complex media and communications function
  • Media liaison and public relations management
  • Highly developed planning and organisational skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated administration in a large and complex environment
  • Ability to deliver positive solutions to complex media problems
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to obtain a Working With Children Check
  • Drivers licence and Car is highly advantageous
