About the role:
Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity available at our Fortitude Valley Head Office. The role of our Business Development Manager (QLD) is to identify, develop and convert business opportunities to meet revenue sales targets across the MICE and corporate markets for all Spicers Retreats.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Research and identify new business opportunities in the market, proactively pursue and convert business from those accounts; 
  • Strategically nurture and drive existing relationships to maximise repeat business;
  • Developing and executing a quarterly proactive sales call plan
  • Ensuring all documentation is accurate and timely in our CRM system

Skills & Experience:
We are looking for a sales professional who:

  1. Has very strong sales experience, preferably in the hospitality or travel industry;
  2. Has proven success in identifying new business opportunities & achieving targets;
  3. Is a highly driven sales professional with strong business negotiation skills;
  4. Is able to develop & action a regular sales call plan;
  5. Is a relationship developer, influencer and problem solver.
