About Us:

Foodbank Victoria is an independent not-for-profit organisation with almost 90 years experience providing food relief to individuals and families experiencing hardship. We are the largest provider of food relief in Victoria. Our vision is healthy food for all Victorians.

In 2017/18, we were able to distribute more than 8 million kilograms of food and household products, equivalent to putting 15 million meals on tables for people in need.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to work in our busy operations team, supervising our warehouse team and allocating tasks in the collection, storage and distribution of donated food and goods. We are seeking someone with the following skills and experience:

• Able to live our values of accountability, empowerment, integrity and respect.
• Significant experience in supervising warehouse staff.
• Interest and ability to take on multiple tasks.
• Must have forklift licence and experience in a warehouse environment, with hi-reach work.
• Experience working to Occupational Health and Safety requirements and safety-first approach to work.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Well-developed organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Experience in the use of Microsoft Office and stock management programs, ideally Dynamics.
• Food industry experience would be highly regarded.
