Remuneration and Governance Analyst

The Role:

The remuneration and governance analyst position provides research and quantitative support to consultants who are experts in the specialised field of executive remuneration and board governance.

Essential skills and criteria:

  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent research skills
  • A high standard of written and verbal English
  • Sound report writing skills
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Matlab experience is not essential, but is preferred

Key responsibilities:

  • Researching company and executive information in Australia and internationally using Annual Reports, Bloomberg, Morningstar and other sources
  • Analysing executive remuneration, including equity awards
  • Analysing company financial data
  • Preparing draft client reports and publications
  • Financial and remuneration modelling based on historical company performance
  • Preparing data and graphics to incorporate in client company performance disclosures
  • Preparing equity valuations using Black Scholes Merton, Monte Carlo simulations and binomial/lattice techniques
  • Testing relative company performance
  • Assisting with maintaining our remuneration database

Qualifications and experience:

  • Graduate in one or more of statistics, psychology, actuarial science, finance, economics, law or related degree
  • Up to 2 years remuneration or financial analysis experience will be advantageous
