Senior Contracts Specialist

12 Month Contract with strong possibility of extension, Fantastic day rates on offer in high performing team, Resource Leader.

Our client is seeking an extremely motivated senior contracts specialist to join their high performing team . This opportunity will allow the right candidate to further develop their skills across a wide range of high value contracts focusing on the sourcing, running tenders, negotiation and award while working in an exciting and fast paced environment.

You will exercise your advanced commercial acumen to play a pivotal role thriving on the challenge and working within a fast-paced tier one organisation.

As such your responsibilities within this position will include:

• Strategy, Tender Preparation, Issue, evaluation, negotiation and award
• Liaising with key stakeholders whilst preparing and maintaining supplier contracts
• Responsible for delivering on large tender packages of works
• Delivering commercial and contractual advice within supplier and stakeholder functions
• Monitoring and analysing markets and negotiating optimal business arrangements
• Calculation and management of Commercial Risk
• Avoidance, management and resolution of contractual disputes
• Development and Management of both internal and external Stakeholder relationships.

The successful candidate for this role will have proven experience across a contracts or strategic role ideally from within a resource (oil&gas / mining) environment.  

Experience on high value projects would also be ideal. You will display exceptionally strong negotiation and problem solving skills with the ability to thrive within a dynamic team environment. While being significantly experienced in contracts negotiation, commercial acumen and contract management.
