About the Company:  

Long standing community services organisation based in the South West region, is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to drive the organisation’s business transformation strategies into the future. Following a period of exciting change within the sector the Board of Directors has recently taken the business through a thorough strategic review to position the organisation for success in the areas of sector performance, governance, people and culture, finance, systems, technology and marketing.  
About the Role:  

We are searching for a new CEO who will lead the ongoing delivery of these strategies and initiatives ensuring the highest quality delivery of services across all business areas of the organisation. The CEO will provide strategic leadership and management as well as working in collaboration with the Board of Directors to achieve organisational objectives aligned with the client’s vision, mission and values.

Whilst business acumen, human resource knowledge, business growth skills and the ability to effectively execute strategic and operational deliverables are critical, being socially responsible and people focused is of equal importance. The organisation is seeking an executive who is ethical, innovative and possesses a genuine passion and commitment to providing the highest level of services and advocacy to the community.
Job Requirements:   
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will have the following:

  • Considerable experience in providing high level strategic and operational leadership - ideally this experience will be within a multifaceted service delivery environment in the not for profit sector
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to effectively manage financial resources and align organisational systems and resources to strategy
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills to engage with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders in order to effectively network, advocate and influence at operational, policy and strategic levels
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and experience in managing government service delivery contracts, and associated reporting and regulatory requirements would be advantageous
  • Tertiary qualifications in community services, business management, financial management or other relevant disciplines (desirable).
