In this role, you will be at the forefront of UniSA Sport; delivering an outstanding customer service experience to all users of the facilities. This includes greeting members, handling all gym membership enquires and general membership administrative tasks as required. A major component of this role is the mentoring and sign off of third year placement students. The role is also be responsible for the supervision and presentation of the gym facilities, supporting and encouraging gym users, as well as the set-up and pack-down of equipment as required.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have a completed Human Movement degree and hold, or be eligible to apply for, an exercise and Sports Science Australia membership and Exercise Science (ES) accreditation. You will have outstanding customer service skills; paired with the ability to design and implement fitness programs which encompass correct exercise techniques. Experience in mentoring third year placement students and a first aid qualification are highly desirable.
