Manager Mine Geology

If you are an Experienced Mine Geologist with relevant high level Narrow Vein Gold experience in an Open and Underground gold mining environment, we would want to hear from you.

Millennium Minerals Limited, an ASX listed company is a recognised rising star of the Australian Gold Industry with a proven discovery track record, a substantial gold resource base and a strong platform for the continuation and building of a significant mid-tier Australian gold production house.

We continue this success into 2019 as Millennium is embarking on a future changing project of Underground Mining this year. With these new and exciting operations in active status, we are continually expanding with new and additional Mining Centres coming on stream, exploration surging ahead, Plant Sulphite expansions and the continuation of our Open Pit Mining operations, these will all complement and be concurrent to our existing operations.

With these exciting expansions and continued operations we are currently seeking applications and expressions of interest from suitably qualified and highly experience Mine Geologists for both our Open Pit and Underground teams to join the Millennium family.

The Opportunities

We are seeking self-motivated and highly experienced team professionals to join us in the East Pilbara.  If successful in your application you will work as part of a highly experienced technical services team of Mine Geologists, Engineers and Surveyors.

Manager Mine Geology:

Some of the key criteria for this position that you must possess to be considered for an interview are:

  • Narrow Vein Gold Experience
  • Resource Estimation, Block Modelling, Wireframing, Ore Tapes, Month End Reconciliation
  • Open Pit and Underground Mining
  • 10+ years experience essential

Mine Geologists:

Some of the key criteria for this position that you must possess to be considered for an interview are:

  • Open Pit and Underground experience necessary
  • Daily tonnage reconciliation
  • Ore Mark Ups, Ore Spotting, Ore stockpile management
  • Blast hole and in-pit sampling
  • Pit mapping
  • Underground mapping and sludge sampling
  • 3+ years experience preferred

The successful applicants will be able to demonstrate the required relevant experience in open pit/underground gold mining with strong Surpac expertise being highly regarded.

The Manager role will attract a professional with an exceptional level of leadership and management experience having the ability to lead, manage guide and mentor the relevant site teams.
