User Researcher / Service Designer - UX, Digital

One of Australia's most reputable Federal Government department's is looking to engage multiple enthusiastic and experienced User Researcher/ Service Designer to work collaboratively with the Departments stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement in service design concepts and overall user experience. 

The successful User Researcher/ Service Designer must have experience in the following;

  • Experience in a concept/user experience lab or Social/Market Research environment 
  • Ability to identify user needs and ensure that your team understands them and keeps user needs at front of mind when making product and prioritisation decisions
  • Ability to plan and conduct a range of research including contextual inquiries, depth interviews, diary studies and others as required
  • Ability to articulate clear and actionable insights and recommendations, and in multiple ways (such as service maps, customer journeys etc)
  • Demonstrated data analysis skills
  • Demonstrated collaboration, presentation and communication skills and ability to work with all stakeholders

This is a rare opportunity for a talented and highly motivated User Researcher/ Service Designer to join a reputable federal government department working on high profile national digital transformation program of work. Initially, there will be a 7 month contract on offer plus a possible extension option.
