ECOMMERCE CO-ORDINATOR (12 month maternity leave contract)

Based at our Support Office in Hawthorn East, we now have a fantastic 12-month maternity leave opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic eCommerce Co-ordinator to join the team!

Reporting to the Head of eCommerce, you will be responsible for the day to day operations of the website, email marketing management and customer service management, along with supporting the eCommerce team in meeting online sales targets through online and omnichannel growth.

 

Other responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Update and manage all content on the website including homepage, landing pages, promotional banners, dinkus, pricing changes and uploading products
  • Onsite visual merchandising according to product availability, best sellers and current promotions
  • Reporting and analysis on visual merchandising changes to monitor performance and drive onsite conversion
  • Work collaboratively with the Merchandise Planning team to monitor and maintain stock levels across the website
  • Brief and manage the end-to-end delivery of digital graphic assets required for the website with the graphic design team such as homepage tiles, promotional tiles, landing pages and digital marketing assets
  • Brief and manage the end-to-end delivery for email marketing campaigns in line with marketing and promotional activities
  • Ongoing A/B testing of email marketing campaigns to improve performance and conversion
  • Developing content strategy and content creating of the blog
  • Managing and leading the online customer service function, in conjunction with the Online Fulfilment and Customer Service Coordinator
  • Identifying any opportunities to improve the website experience based on customer feedback
  • Managing and creating new knowledge base FAQ articles to provide more information for customers seeking information on delivery, returns and online shopping
  • Making continuous improvements and configurations in Zendesk to drive team productivity, efficiency and accountability
  • Monitor and analyse website in Google Analytics to identify improvement opportunities and for reporting purposes
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging technology to identify opportunities to growth the eCommerce channel and drive online sales performance

 

 To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Minimum of two years experience in an eCommerce Coordinator role within the retail industry or at an agency
  • Exposure or involvement in online customer service support or social service responsibility is desirable
  • Experience and understanding of onsite merchandising and how it can be used to drive sales is desirable
  • Sound understanding of eCommerce and digital practices
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with fantastic attention to detail
  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to effectively manage and resolve conflict positively
  • A methodical and structured approach to work with excellent time management skills
  • Proven commitment to providing an excellent customer experience in a professional manner
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
  • Proven ability to take ownership, demonstrate initiative and problem solving
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven nature of the industry
  • Passion for eCommerce and digital
  • Willingness to learn and grow
