Marketing Coordinator

There is now an opportunity for a marketing coordinator to join our Australian team in a full-time capacity. We are looking for an individual who has broad experience in media relations, copy writing, communications, event coordination, and social media management.

 

Position Overview:

 

This is a role for a Marketing Coordinator, responsible the coordination of Place Design Groups Australian marketing and communications requirements.  We are seeking a candidate that is an excellent communicator, with a focus on written and digital communications; a self-starter who can work independently and show initiative.  The candidate will need to have on the ground experience and ideally have worked within the public relations arena or within the development industry.  

 

The successful candidate will manage the role in an enthusiastic and professional manner, reflecting and enhancing the companys reputation. The role will include duties such as:

 

  • Manage social media and online channels and messaging
  • Write media releases and media communications
  • Manage media and stakeholder databases and relationships
  • Coordinate marketing collateral development
  • Coordinate internal communications
  • Event coordination
  • Develop award submissions
  • Coordinate sponsorships and partnerships
  • Coordinate marketing reporting

Essential Experience:

  • Min. 5 years experience in a communications / public relations role
  • Digital experience social media and online
  • Media experience
  • High level written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Able to manage and prioritise deadlines
  • A highly motivated worker
  • Have a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook

 

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in the development industry
  • Event management experience
  • Experience and working knowledge in the use of in-design

 

Note: annual remuneration will be commensurate with the candidates experience and potential contribution to the company.
