About the Role
Our client, a leading global resources industry organisation, is seeking an E&I Commissioning Supervisor to join their Perth team on a long-term contract. This role will play a vital part in the commissioning of a new mining project. The chosen candidate will receive a competitive rate, and an opportunity to work on a large-scale and technologically advanced project with a leading organisation. The role will initially commence in a Perth city office and mobilise to the site in later stages of the project.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Coordinate commissioning of a greenfield mining project
Deliver the project commissioning and start-up activities in a manner that is aligned with the clients safety, schedule, and budget objectives
Supervise a team of E&I discipline contractors both in office and at site capacity
Identify faults and generate effective solutions
Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Skills and Experience
Experience working on mining industry projects, ideally within a greenfield mine site
Demonstrated knowledge on the local mining statutory requirements and WA Electrical License
Experience working in construction, commissioning, operations and maintenance project scopes
Proven ability to problem-solve and locate faults
Demonstrated experience in managing, leading or supervising teams
