The opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced executive assistant to join our team. 

We are seeking a self-driven and proactive individual with a high degree of business acumen. You will have a track record of managing multiple priorities with ease given your skills in time management, communication and stakeholder management.

It is essential that you demonstrate an action-oriented mindset, are solutions focused and thrive in a busy, varied environment.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Managing Partner and working with the firm partners;
  • Typing, dictation transcription and document preparation;
  • Administrative tasks including calendar management, client correspondence and client liaison;
  • Marketing orientated tasks including presentations and seminars; and
  • Event management


The position will be full time, based in the Cairns office, working with the managing partner, with a competitive remuneration package on offer for the successful candidate.


Who we are looking for

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • Minimum four years + experience as a personal assistant;
  • extensive experience in business support roles;
  • superior organisational skills and efficiencies;
  • a strong client focus and commitment to client service;
  • exceptional attention to detail;
  • advanced experience with the Microsoft Office suite of software, particularly Microsoft Word and PowerPoint;
  • well-developed written and verbal communication skills;
  • a commitment to team work;
  • an ability to adapt to changing circumstances, and manage competing deadlines and priorities; and
  • high standards of professionalism.
