If you are currently working as a Contracts Administrator or Project Engineer and have some good commercial projects under your belt, perhaps you are looking to take the step to Project Management and finding a glass ceiling in your current business - this could the role you are looking for.
As the Project Manager, you will be based in their offices located a heartbeat away from the CBD managing a $10 million education project. Along with the support of a Contracts Administrator. Your responsibilities will be:
Project managing the site through to completion.
Producing Master Construction Programmes
Chairing PCG meetings
Design coordination, management and rectification of issues with all stakeholders
Ensuring effective cost control, quality assurance and efficient running of the project.
Project progress reporting, cost reporting and conducting weekly meetings
Provision of advice on any technical issues.
Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program.
Consistently deliver safe, profitable construction projects whilst building & developing Client relationships that will result in repeat business for the company.
You will have experience of working as a CA, Project Engineer and/or Project Manager for a recognised commercial Builder in Australia
Minimum of 5 years experience working in the Australian construction industry.
Demonstrated project management skills, effective negotiation skills and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in maintaining key client relationships.
The ability to support junior staff
Excellent communication skills.
