The Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA) is non-profit organisation and Australias leading authority on breastfeeding. We provide high quality and accessible training, education and resources to our volunteers, health professionals and the wider community to ensure skilled, knowledgeable and practical breastfeeding support for mothers.
An exciting opportunity exists for a self-motivated individual to join our training and education team in the position of the RTO Training and Compliance Administration Officer 1.
About the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager Training and Education, the purpose of this role is to provide administrative support for the provision of training and education and for the RTOs quality assurance and compliance processes.
This position will provide you with the opportunity to work closely with a committed and passionate training team in a high achieving and rewarding team environment.
This role is based at ABAs national office in South Melbourne. Initial employment is for 0.8 EFT (four days per week). There is potential for the role to become a full-time position at a later date. Family friendly, flexible working hours and generous salary packaging benefits are available.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have:
Advanced computer skills including experience and expertise in the use of MS Office and databases and the ability to readily learn new systems existing proficiency in using VETtrak and VETenrol, other AVETMISS compliant student management systems and or Moodle-based Learning Management Systemswould be highly regarded for this role
Strong organisational, planning and time management skills with an ability to prioritise and manage workload, meet deadlines and adapt to changing circumstances
Able to effectively communicate in written and verbal formats to ensure all instructions and reports are understood - experience with e-communications would be an advantage
Ability to work as part of team and contribute to the motivation and achievement of team goals
Previous experience of working in training, education, compliance and administration and with volunteers are highly regarded for this role
