  • Part-time (0.6 EFT) 3 full days or 4 shorter days
  • Band 7: $92,581 (pro rata) plus 9.5% Superannuation
  • 12 months maximum term position
  • St Kilda Town hall

The City of Port Phillip is an inner-city council with around 1000 employees who deliver more than 100 programs and services to our residents, businesses and visitors. These range from childcare and immunisations, to libraries, management of parks and open space, rubbish collection, road maintenance and more.

The City of Port Phillip has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Internal Communications professional who can inform and enhance multi-dimensional communications for across the organisation.

The incumbent will work closely with the Manager Communications and Engagement and Executive Leadership Team to support consistently high quality multi-media communications, materials and presentations and is also responsible for developing and delivering effective internal communications to the organisation, addressing the Internal Communications Framework, Council Plan and Organisational Strategy

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in the development and implementation of successful internal communications strategies, programs, campaigns and initiatives as well as excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience in writing and editing for a variety of audiences in a range of mediums.
