Executive assistant/office manager

ARC Electrical Mechanical is an electrical and mechanical services business that has been operating in the Canberra community for the past seven years, we are excited to announce we have a new position open. 

The successful candidate will work with the Executive team at ARC to provide a high level of administrative assistance and support for the organisation. The successful candidate will also work closely with the Managing Director to establish and fine tune written company policies and procedures.     

If you love organising, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, are open to learning new skills and like to use the latest software and automation tools, then this position is for you! 

Tasks will include but are not limited to.

  • Record and maintain all company licences and compliance documentation ie insurance, registrations 
  • Manage incoming enquires and bookings and accurately entering data using the companys software  
  • Taking enquiries and attending phone calls 
  • Assisting in writing operational procedures and processes 
  • Writing minor Purchase orders and tender proposals   
  • General care and responsibilities of office upkeep    
  • General administrative tasks  
  • Manage phone calls and accurately record messages and ensure follow up and manage emails  
  • Collect and manage mail  
  • Order and maintain uniform inventory
