Monday 8am - Friday 4.30pm, Above Award Rates, 6 New Car Manufacturers.

About the business and the role

Ross Granata Motors is Mudgee's and one of the Central West NSW's largest multi franchise dealerships housing 6 new car brands - Holden, Nissan, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Isuzu UTE, Subaru plus approx. 100 Used Cars.

We employ over 40 local people and are an employer of choice in the Mudgee Community for 30+ years

Job tasks and responsibilities

As an Automotive Service Technician - Mechanic your days will consist of:

• General Log Book Services on a large range of vehicles of all ages
• Warranty work consistent with manufacturers requirements
• Diagnostic and fault finding
• Used Car check overs and Pink Slip or Pink Slip diagnoses
• Accessory fitment
• All kinds of additional duties as required by the foreman and controller

Skills and experience

To be successful in your application we are preferably looking for someone who:

• Has had previous mechanical experience in a workshop
• Has had experience in an automotive franchised environment
• Has their pink slip ticket or prepared to be trained by us to get it
• Fully qualified technician or almost fully qualified and prepared to complete
• Holds a current NSW Drivers Licence
• Confident Manual & Automatic driver in all types of vehicles
• Open to completing ongoing Manufacturers Training 
• Has a good positive attitude and a can do approach
• Have exceptional time management skills
• Be able to take direction and instructions and perform requested tasks with skill and care
• Fix it right first time attitude
