Michael Arthur is a luxury by appointment boutique jeweller renowned for bespoke fine Engagement rings, Wedding rings and Fine Jewellery. Our aim is to ensure that each and every one of our clients has an exceptional experience through our personal service and exquisite workmanship. We invite clients to choose from our wide range of designs or create their own custom design. Using the latest jewellery design technology, we are able to create the perfect unique piece for every unique customer. Brand new boutique in Paddington.

The Role

With an ever growing client base, our brand is expanding and we are looking for the right person to join the small but amazing team! This is a rare and unique opportunity for someone who has sales experience to grow and progress in their career. Our ideal candidate would be someone who has front of house retail/sales experience and is willing to learn about the back of house behind the scenes aspect of Jewellery. They will also be assisting with managing the daily boutique operations. Experience in fine jewellery is preferred but not required. Education and training will be provided.

The role will entail:

  • Meeting with new clients to design their custom jewellery piece.
  • Inform and educate clients on the various options they have when it comes to selecting the right stone, gold etc..
  • Handling projects from start to completion including design, diamond and stone selection, project management, client consultations via email, social media and face to face, liaising with suppliers and diamond dealers, invoicing, creating valuations, collections etc..
  • General boutique management: checking and replying to emails, seeing walk in clients, following up leads, overlooking the project timeline to ensure all jobs are being attended to.

  • Previous experience working for a luxury brand is a must
  • Previous fine jewellery/diamond experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Any experience on a jewellers bench would be a bonus but not required
  • Proven track record in meeting sales targets
  • Strong client relationship building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work cohesively within a team
  • Ability to present yourself well.
