PARTS INTERPRETER / SERVICE ADMIN - SADDLEWORTH

An opportunity exists at our Saddleworth dealership for an experienced parts interpreter / service administration officer with excellent customer service & computer skills. 

Duties & responsibilities for parts interpreter

  • Provide exceptional & timley service to customers over the phone and in-store with product identification for Agricultural & Industrial machinery.

  • Manage parts sales and enquiries promptly & courteously.

  • Process orders & returns accurately & efficiently.

  • Prepare & supply accurate quotes for parts supply.

  • Promote company and partnership brands.

  • Have a sound mechanical aptitude to efficiently interpret parts across several brands.

 

Duties & responsibilities for service administration

  • Consisting of but, not limited to, timely support to the service manager with the following duties:
     
  • Manage service calls and enquiries promptly & courteously
     
  • Process repair orders and warranty Ccaims accurately & efficiently.
     
  • Prepare & supply accurate reports as required
     
  • Promote company and partnership brands.
     
  • Processing of technician timesheets & order stationery as required
     
  • Process/input completed oil stocktakes & vehicle inspections as per routine procedures
     
  • Complete monthly processing requirements
     
  • Any other duties as directed

Your high work ethic & strong customer service skills will ensure customers receive up to date information on all products/services over the telephone and through counter sales. The incumbent needs to be self motivated, forward thinking, have a strong sense of customer service & adapt easily to multiple brands for all seasons. You will need to think on your feet during peak seasonal trade and handle busy workloads without fuss.

Skills, Experience & Licences

  • A good mechanical aptitude

  • Previous parts interpreter experience an advantage

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and time management skills

  • Positive can-do attitude

  • Computer Literacy

  • Current drivers licence
     
  • Mechanically minded (able to understand & interpret parts books)
     
  • Safe use and handling of plant and equipment
     
  • Physically fit to work a rotating harvest call-out roster
     
  • Forklift licence an advantage

Some interstate and intrastate training will be available and is highly encouraged when it is on offer.

The role will be based in Saddleworth but initial training will take place at our Clare dealership.
