Who are we
Meridian Energy Australia (MEA) is an integrated renewable electricity generator and energy retailer dedicated to operating on sustainable principles. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Meridian Energy Limited (MEL) based in New Zealand. We operate wind farms in Victoria and South Australia and hydro plants in NSW and we’ve recently entered into several energy offtake agreements with wind and solar developers in Victoria and NSW. We retail energy to customers using our Powershop brand in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland.
What we are looking for!
We have an opportunity for strategic thinker to take our portfolio analyst role to the next level within our Energy Risks team. You may have some previous energy experience (but not essential) and you’ll be able to collaborate across the business to provide insight into risk management. Based in central Melbourne, you’ll be supporting and developing reports and providing analysis for the Energy risk team.
What you'll bring:
Great communication skills, both written & verbal
A background in quantitative analysis and risk assessment
Strong initiative, ability to think on your feet and own your ideas and analysis
Be a strong team player and ability to build relationships with strong interpersonal skills.
