The Position

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will be accountable for the leadership and management of the finishing areas of our multi-function operations.

This is a hands-on, diverse role which will require you to be highly organised and be responsible for the end-to-end management and organisation of our finishing and warehouse departments.

Its essential that you have demonstrated leadership skills and experience with multi-function teams in a high pace environment. Your passion to succeed through your teams will continue to drive improvement to production efficiencies.

Strategic

  • Responsible for planning, directing and overseeing finishing outcomes
  • Identify strategies to drive continuous improvement in finishing processes and practices
  • Develop and monitor risk management frameworks, internal controls, governance practices and regulatory compliance

Build Section

  • Ensure performance measures are robust, aligned and driving the business objectives
  • Ensure business complies with OH&S requirements
  • Manage and monitor work flow and special project timelines
  • Develop/Maintain and improve internal processes and policies
  • Strong desire to deliver outstanding customer service
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving capabilities
  • Manage costs against business KPIs, controlling spending in relation to changes in production volume.
  • Ability to work under pressure while motivating others and meet tight deadlines

Previous Experience

  • Automotive- Minimum of 3 years management experience
  • High level of self-awareness
  • Proven experience in production management
  • Strong HR and IR knowledge
  • Strong focus and understanding of manufacturing systems and processes
  • Computer literate
  • Strategy, planning & execution skills/experience
  • Work effectively with stakeholders at all levels

The Remuneration

A salary commensurate to the role will be negotiated taking into consideration your qualifications and experience.
