About the Role
The Production Manager will contribute to the organisations objectives by leading the Innovation and Program Development team to ensure that innovation projects and organisation tasks are effectively prioritised, planned and delivered. Essential requirements of this position are leadership, planning, collaboration, written and oral communication skills and the flexibility to undertake a range of activities based on the changing needs of our small but growing organisation.
The Production Manager will advise project teams involved in the delivery of innovation projects on the innovation model systems, processes, practices and tools to achieve results in line with the GGSA vision. The role is part of the Leadership Team and may occassionally work with GGSA partners and other stakeholders.
Tertiary qualification in business, economics, engineering, public policy or a related discipline;
Experince of successful project development delivery, including managing multiple concurrent projects
Experience in project scheduling; including activity definition, duration estimating and activity scheduling
Experience in coordinating cross-functional team members
Experience in leading and undertaking business and/or social policy related research, analysis and design
Strong writing skills in business cases, briefs and presentations
Proven ability to develop strong networks with diverse key partners with demonstrated negotiation skills and the ability to address difficult or contentious concepts
Exceptional research, communication skills (oral and written), IT skills (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint), and strong organisational and time management skills
Empathy with less advantaged peoples and a desire to see them gain access to the same opportunities as other Australians
Willingness to travel away from base location to spend time visiting regional and remote areas of Australia
Ability to obtain a working with children check (QLD Blue Card)
Ability to obtain a successful police check.
Familiarity with and knowledge of the Australian primary and secondary education sector;
Understanding of co-design processes; education reform; business development, monitoring and evaluation
