AV Service & Commissioning Technician

In response to an expansion of our Service department, we are looking for an experienced AV Service & Commissioning Technician to join our team.

Key responsibilities 

  • Identifying faults and design defects in AV installation
  • Generating reports of defects based upon the commissioning scope.
  • Re-testing (where necessary) the system and generating supplementary reports.
  • Provisioning, configuring, optimising, performance testing and integrating, solution technologies
  • Evaluating installations and complete associated documentation.
  • Respond to Service Calls raised by clients in a timely and professional manner
  • Update internal registers and procedures to reflect the current status of rooms and service tickets
  • Produce high quality system and maintenance performance report
  • Repair or send for repair all faulty equipment and follow up on repairs that are assigned to you with agreed turnaround times
  • Complete routine maintenance on AV equipment as scheduled and ensure AV systems in all rooms are in good working condition
  • Update internal registers and procedures to reflect current status of rooms
  • Provide professional  support and proactive communication to clients

Skills and experience

  • Electronics, Audio Visual qualifications or equivalent experience are highly desirable  
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Audio Visual industry 
  • A moderate understanding of network infrastructure 
  • Confident interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Professional personal presentation and history of exceptional work attendance
  • Ability to be flexible, with a positive approach
  • An ability to form effective client relationships
  • A passion to further your professional development
