Planner

Bradken is a leading solutions provider of innovative, custom-engineered products for the resources sector. It operates a global network of manufacturing, sales and service facilities employing about 3,000 people.

The Planner is based in Newcastle, NSW with the successful candidate supporting a  collaborative  environment to assist in the improvement of project delivery within the business. As part of a supportive team, there will be opportunities for training and mentoring to aid development within this key role. The role is full-time with family- friendly working arrangements available.

The role will include:

  • Developing, maintaining and tracking project schedules
  • Monitoring and supporting teams throughout the various phases of the projects lifecycle
  • Gathering information to prepare reports on the progress of projects
  • Creating an open and honest environment to identify project deliver risks early and resolve them in a collaborative way
  • Identifying and communicating variances in project delivery schedules
  • Identifying and communicating project trends, forecasts and budgets

A candidate will ideally have the following proficiencies and experience:

  • Experience in a similar position
  • Ability to manage schedules
  • Experience enabling collaborative team environments
  • Demonstrated ability to compile reports and openly communicate
  • Proficiency using project planning software
  • Exposure to Wrike, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or PowerBI is advantageous
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of programs

Before commencing employment, you will be required to complete a psychometric assessment and a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
