National Business Manager - Grocery & eCommerce

With full ownership in driving the relationship with key retailers, we are seeking a highly skilled and commercial experienced National Business Manager, able to work autonomously and lead the broader business in line with your strategic customer business plans. You will be required to drive growth with the Grocery and eCommerce channels through the effective development and execution of commercially sound joint business plans, continually evaluating your branded offering to ensure you are in line with consumer trends and customer objectives, as well as leading your direct and broader business teams to success.

If you do not have significant exposure to the incredibly fast-growing eCommerce channel, here is your chance.  In order to become a future SD within the FMCG environment, it is crucial to gain exposure to this major channel which will account for an anticipated 20-30% of revenue over the next 5 years.

This is a highly autonomous role reporting directly into the Sales Director, with the flexibility to bring new ideas and strategies to the table in a supportive and highly engaged environment. With a strong focus on local innovation and product development, you will be accountable for the successful launch of new and branded products into a highly competitive category. 

Given the scope and size of this role, in order to be successful, you will have experience at the Senior National Account Management or National Business Management level managing key retailers and eCommerce channels, with specific experience working within an FMCG environment. You will have exceptional negotiation skills and proven ability in developing and executing joint business plans with a strong category focus.  Further, you will have solid exposure to, and a passion for, driving category insights from raw data to concept through to execution.
