Clear Search is looking for a passionate, driven and well-established National Account Manager to join a major player within the FMCG space, supported by a strong leader and a collaborative and dynamic business. With full ownership in driving the relationship with a major retailer, we are seeking a highly skilled and driven National Account Manager with a strong commercial acumen and proven experience managing key accounts within the FMCG industry. The role is responsible for managing client interaction, through implementing sales strategies and managing promotional activities. Highly focused on delivering the company’s strategic goals, the National Account Manager should maintain a close working relationship with cross-functional teams to achieve strategy’s set out, including Trade Marketing, Planning, Marketing, Logistics and Finance.  

This is a highly autonomous role where you will have full ownership over the account, with the flexibility to bring new ideas and strategies to the table, whilst managing an established and positive relationship with key stakeholders. The National Account Manager role will have full ownership over the continual improvement of the account by identifying opportunities for efficiency and profitability. You will be integral in accomplishing strategic objectives with the accounts trade partners, managing and improving promotional strategy’s and ensuring the successful implementation and continual development of product launch plans.
Given the scope and size of this role, in order to be successful, you will have experience at the National Account Management level managing international retailers, with specific experience working within an FMCG/Consumer Goods environment. You will have exceptional negotiation skills and proven ability in influencing key figures, working towards commercial targets using practical action plans. A large part of your success will come from your ability to influence and lead a large number of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
