Catholic Education Melbourne (CEM) is a dynamic education service provider to 334 Catholic primary, secondary and special schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne. ABOUT THE POSITION
The Business Intelligence and Reporting Lead works in conjunction with The Business Advisory Services team within Catholic Education Melbourne. This department aims to develop, implement and maintain enabling and support systems to assist all Catholic schools to deliver high-quality contemporary learning in a resource-efficient manner. Thus, the Business Intelligence and Reporting Lead requires a strong ability in working collaboratively towards an objective to have a strong contribution to the financial analysis, reporting, compliance and business improvement for CEM and Victorian Catholic schools.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL
The successful applicant will be committed to the key selection criteria as outlined in the Position Description. Such criterion include a high level of leadership and direction capability, managerial skills that demonstrate commitment to driving team development and engagement, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills that are highly developed. They would also have business acumen that demonstrates understanding of both internal and external procedures and compliance in relation to State and Commonwealth Government Grants to Catholic schools, accountability and governance requirements at all levels of the sector, as well as a commitment to and understanding of the Catholic Church, its ethos, values and mission of Catholic Education.
The successful applicant will also be subject to a Working with Children Check and a National Police Record Check.
