Store Person

Due to recent developments we have a good opportunity for someone to join our team to develop their skills and build a career within our well known and established company.   We are looking for a Store Person for our warehouse located in our Dandenong South head office. The candidate will need to be reliable, energetic and pro-active. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills as it will encompass all aspects of warehouse duties and with a fair degree of autonomy.

The position will report to the Logistics Supervisor and their responsibilities and duties will include but not be limited to:

• Picking and packing orders for our customer base

• Loading and unloading trucks and full containers

• Organizing consignment collections with freight carriers

• Re-stocking of shelves and racking

• Assisting in the workshop as required

• Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment including regular stocktake activities

• Willingness to learn and develop new skills to progress within the company

The job will be full time, with hours to be worked between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday. An attractive salary will be offered for the right candidate.

Successful applicant must have:

• Relevant warehouse experience

• Strong Customer Service Focus

• Demonstrated ability to multi task

• Forklift license

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Good organisational skills and attention to detail

• Computer literate across business operating systems

• An awareness of OH&S regulations and a safety conscious attitude
