Graphic Designer, Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Master Grocers Australia (MGA) is a not for profit organisation that prides itself on the delivery of exceptional service to its members. MGAs national head office is located in Malvern, Victoria.

Currently we have a vacancy for an enthusiastic Graphic Designer/Marketing/Communications Co-ordinator. Experienced in website design and maintenance, social media and e-marketing to drive our member communication and engagement. You will be a strategic thinker with a pro-active can do attitude who loves the challenge of how to engage members and sell our membership services through digital marketing.  

Reporting to the Trade Marketing & Business Development Manager, this role ranges from answering member enquiries, to compiling and designing our magazine, along with developing and implementing communication strategies and maintaining our Brand standards through all types of communication channels.  

You will never have a dull moment!  

It is essential that the ideal candidate have;  

  • An understanding of a small team environment, possess leadership qualities with the ability to work autonomously, as well as the capacity to engage and collaborate with the team
  • A minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience in a similar role
  • Experience in developing and implementing communication and marketing strategies
  • Sound knowledge, skills and experience with multiple communication platforms including the management of websites, social media and e-marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively monitor relevant data, trends, analytics, associated with social media sites, marketing activities and Website
  • Sound understanding of other online technology, including Vision6, Google Analytics, Google Adwords and associated platforms
  • High quality graphic design skill (photography an advantage)
  • Ability to manage projects from concept to completion including print management
  • Exceptional time management skills and experience in organising and able to prioritizing work tasks to meet deadlines and achieve high quality work outcomes
  • Outstanding knowledge of the English language and copy writing skills would be advantageous.
  • Experience with creating graphics for online training would be advantageous
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, Captivate 9 and E learning platforms are essential.

This is a full-time role and salary is negotiable for the right candidate.
