Westvic Industrial has been established for over 15 years, servicing Geelong and South Western Victoria including Colac, Warrnambool and Portland.
We are a speciality supplier, selling a range of industrial and automation products.
Our customer base includes manufacturers, food processing companies, hospitals, water industry, electrical contractors and engineering fabricators.
We are seeking a self motivated person who can work in a team.
Your role would be working internally at the office and include the following functions:
Internal sales Serving and sales to counter customers, selling to and finding solutions for customers who call in via phone or via email enquiries. We sell a large range of specialised products for industry and we will organise for you to have the appropriate training to be able to service our customer base.
Purchasing As you will be working in a small business it is important you are able to deal with our extensive supplier base. Getting the right product, negotiating prices and being able to follow thru with the appropriate paper work to get the transactions completed. This ensures our customers get the right product at the right price.
Store With an extensive range of industrial products we need to hold a large range of stock in our store. We are receiving and despatching products every day. We need to manage the stock we keep in our store so we have the right products and quantities to service our customers needs.
You would be reporting directly to the Branch Manager.
It is preferred that applicants have some experience selling or servicing industrial & automation products.
This full time position will offer an attractive base salary.
