We have exciting opportunities for a System Architect to be a part of Major Works Division (MWD) in Engineering and Maintenance Directorate within Sydney Trains. The role will be a part of the newly formed Systems Architecture & Assurance Team.
The team has been generated to support the Annual Works Program within the MWD, a large engineering, construction and maintenance Hub at Sydney Trains. Bringing fit for purpose solutions & informed decision making to large multi-disciplinary projects, whilst challenging business silo mentality.
The primary responsibility of the role is for the development of system architecture of a system-of-interest to achieve the business, project and functional objectives. Hold and exercise Engineering Authority for the OT system architecture. Lead concept generation, trade space exploration and concept selection activities and manage the maintenance and evolution of the system architecture.
