MADEC is a large organisation with a permanent workforce of 400 and a service delivery network spanning across 58 multidisciplinary Sites in regional and metro areas. MADEC continues to experience significant growth by the expansion of our commercial labour hire division which has developed into a $95 million dollar business, employing more than 2,500 on-hire workers across Australia.
As our Seasonal Worker employee numbers continue to grow across Australia, we are looking for another person to assist in the financial administration of this diverse program. In this role you will be part of the team that coordinates all invoices and costs associated with the program and actions as required within our financial systems and according to business and statutory requirements. Along with data entry, reporting and reconciliation of information, you are constantly communicating between the various internal and external stakeholders including payroll, finance, remote Account Managers, employers and suppliers to ensure accurate and efficient processing.
Examples of some of the duties you may undertake include:
Processing and related follow up in respect to supplier invoices and card transactions to ascertain whether the amounts expended on behalf of workers is consistent with agreements in place
Follow up in respect to expense recoveries to determine whether the expense incurred is consistent with amounts recovered
Reconciliations of general ledger accounts, sub-ledgers and account listings
Administration and follow up relating to worker assets including purchases and maintenance costs
This is role is for a person with strong detail-oriented administrative skills and a sound knowledge of Microsoft excel, accounting systems and financial practices in a business environment. You can confidently meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. The confidence to investigate differences and communicate in order to resolve matters with staff and suppliers is essential. Honesty, accountability and the ability to work as a team will ensure success in this vital role and progression opportunities in the future. Qualifications in accounting business or equivalent experience in a similar role, will be highly regarded.
